Ace director Rohit Shetty along with Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh begins with the shoot of Sooryavanshi today. The film has Akshay Kumar as Ats Chief, Katrina Kaif as Veer Sooryavanshi?s lover and Neena Gupta as the mother of Veer Sooryavanshi in the leads.

Also, speculations are rife that Rohit?s lucky charm and Singham star Ajay Devgn and Simmba star Ranveer Singh might have cameos in the film.

Before Sooryavanshi, Shetty has made blockbuster films on cop drama like Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba which stars Ajay Devgn, Kajal Aggarwal, Prakash Raj, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anupam Kher, Mahesh Manjrekar, Dayanand Shetty, Amol Gupte, Ranveer Singh, and Sara Ali Khan respectively. Therefore, Sooryavanshi will be an interesting and unique addition to his list.?
