Annapurna TV Hires Amazon’s Patrick Chu, Ups Ali Krug To Svps Development
Annapurna is solidifying its TV division’s senior executive team under Aptv President Sue Naegle. The company has brought in former Amazon executive Patrick Chu as Svp development and has promoted Ali Krug to Svp development from her previous VP role. Chu and Krug will work alongside Susan Goldberg, the division’s Svp of Television.
In his new position Chu will be responsible for developing and producing new television projects for Annapurna TV, with a focus on dramas. He reports to Naegle.
Chu served as a drama, production and development executive at Amazon, where he oversaw the TV adaptations of Hanna and The Hunt. Prior to Amazon, Chu served as VP of Production & Acquisitions at FilmNation, where he produced Kill Switch and executive produced Miss Sloane.
