SEEGarth Brooks wins Entertainer of the Year at 2017 Cma Awards, Chris Stapleton & Miranda Lambert also prevail

Garth Brooks is not only the reigning Entertainer of the Year, but also holds the record for the most victories in this category with an unprecedented six wins overall. Brooks first won this award in 1991.

Women have traditionally been underrepresented in this category, with only seven female artists winning the top prize. Loretta Lynn was the first female winner here, and Barbara Mandrell made history as the first artist of either gender to win the award twice.
