‘SNL': McKinnon’s Kellyanne Conway Channels ‘It,’ Drags Anderson Cooper Into the Sewer (Video)

Kate McKinnon reprised her long-running role as Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, but with a Halloween, horror-movie twist. Playing Anderson Cooper, Alex Moffatt found McKinnon’s Conway in a storm drain, echoing the opening scene of the hit horror film “It,” which adapted the Stephen King novel of the same name. In the movie, an evil and supernaturally powerful clown called Pennywise torments and attacks children in a small Maine town. “SNL” riffed on the idea by putting Conway in the role of Pennywise, waiting in the sewer to lure in Cooper.
