Toronto: Jake Gyllenhaal Says He Finally Played a Superhero in 'Stronger'
Jake Gyllenhaal has yet to don a cape in a Hollywood popcorn movie, having missed out on Batman and Spider-Man roles.
But the Hollywood star on Saturday said playing Boston Marathon Bombing survivor Jeff Bauman in Lionsgate's Stronger finally landed him a superhero role. "I've been asked over my career, in interviews, 'We hear you almost played this superhero, when are you going to make a superhero movie?'
