
Kaitlin Olson’s ‘The Mick’ Renewed by Fox for Season 2

Sorry, suckers, it looks like Mickey’s gonna stick around for a while: Fox has renewed freshman Kaitlin Olson sitcom “The Mick” for a second season. To-date, the series has averaged a solid 2.0 Nielsen rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, including a week’s worth of delayed viewing. By Fox’s own count across multiple platforms, ‘The Mick’ has reached an average of eight million total viewers per episode. “From the earliest stages of development, all of us at Fox had enormous faith in ‘The Mick,’ and it hasn’t disappointed,” said David Madden, president, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “Kaitlin is a fearless comedic.
