Eva Longoria is proud to call Jose Baston her husband.

"Even before we got engaged, we just felt married," the 41-year-old actress says in the November issue of Redbook magazine. "We called one another 'my husband' and 'my wife.' It didn't take either one of us very long to know that 'this is the one.' In my case, it only took 40 years to find him!"

Longoria and Baston were married in May in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, a lakeside town about 88 miles from Mexico City, and the former Desperate Housewives star says she was "thrilled to take his name."
