Ashton Sachs Pleads Guilty to Murdering Parents While They Slept in Orange County Mansion
Ashton Sachs, the California man accused of murdering his parents while they slept and trying to kill two younger siblings in 2014 when he was 19, abruptly pleaded guilty to murder on Tuesday. Sachs, now 22, is expected to spend the rest of his life behind bars. Sachs had a closed-door conference with Orange County Superior Court Judge Gregg Prickett. He then pleaded guilty to special-circumstances murder and attempted-murder charges. He gave no indication why he chose to change his previous not guilty plea.
