
Julian Fellowes’ Agatha Christie thriller 'Crooked House' underway

Max Irons, Stefanie Martini, Glenn Close, Christina Hendricks, Gillian Anderson and Terence Stamp star.
Principal photography has commenced in the UK on Agatha Christie adaptation Crooked House from director Gilles Paquet-Brenner (Sarah’s Key) and Downton Abbey writer Julian Fellowes.
The film will be produced by Joe Abrams at Brilliant Films, James Spring at Fred Films, and Sally Wood.
Based on the novel by Agatha Christie, private detective Charles Hayward is invited to solve a gruesome crime where nobody is above suspicion, including Sophia, his client and former lover.
The feature will star Max Irons (Woman in Gold) as Charles Hayward, Stefanie Martini (Doctor Thorne) as Sophia de Haviland, Glenn Close (Albert Nobbs) as Lady Edith, Honor Kneafsey (Miss You Already) as Josephine, Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) as Brenda, Gillian Anderson (The X-Files) as Magda and Terence Stamp (Big Eyes) as Chief Inspector Taverner.
