Miles Teller Defies Common Sense to Box in ‘Bleed for This’ Trailer
Miles Teller defies common sense to return to the boxing ring as Vinny Pazienza in the first trailer for Open Road’s “Bleed for This.”
The trailer focuses on Pazienza, known as ‘The Pazmanian Devil,’ coming back from a 1991 car wreck that left him with a broken neck and the admonition, “With this severe of an injury, one bump, one fall, any kind of movement, and your spinal cord could sever.”
Teller is having none of it as he begins working out with a metal halo still on his head.
“I know exactly how to give up — it’s easy,” he tells Aaron Eckhart, who portrays trainer Kevin Rooney. “I’m not done. I got more in me.”
Pazienza eventually won three more titles and went on to retire with a 50-10 record.
