“The Grinder” welcomes guest star Maya Rudolph, and her character isn’t quite so impressed with Rob Lowe‘s famous show-within-a-show. In the comedy’s latest cold open (above), Lowe’s fictional lawyer, Mitch Grinder, is seen buried inside a confined space – which turns out to be a coffin, of course. This time, Lowe’s actor character, Dean Sanderson, isn’t watching his own show with his family, but with Rudolph’s character Jillian, his therapist.
