UnREAL: Lifetime Series Character Gets Web Spin-off
Lifetime's UnREAL TV series -- the scripted satire of "reality" dating shows -- has started its own franchise. The first UnREAL TV show spinoff will be a web series built around the fictional Everlasting dating show contestant, Faith, from the first season of UnREAL. UnREAL is from Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Marti Noxon and The Bachelor's Sarah Gertrude Shapiro.
Virginal conservative Christian and closeted lesbian, Faith (Breeda Wool), is in love with her hometown best friend, Amy (Malea Mitchell). During the first season of UnREAL, it takes the sympathetic yet manipulative hand of Shiri Appleby's Rachel Goldberg, under the iron-fisted reign of Constance Zimmer's Quinn King, for Faith to come out.
