Casey Affleck, John Middleton launch production venture
John Powers Middleton, who has worked as executive producer on A&E’s Bates Motel and the Oldboy remake, has teamed up with Casey Affleck to launch a production company.
Untitled Casey Affleck/John Powers Middleton Project will source film and TV opportunities and allow both partners to continue to pursue other avenues.
in addition to the new operation, Middleton will continue to produce at Vertigo Entertainment and Good Universe.
John Ridley has been brought on as president of production and previously served as vp of development and production at Appian Way and managed the Charles Manson miniseries at TNT, among other projects.
Alex Foster will serve as vp of production for the company.
Reps Elia Infascelli-Smith and Alexis Garcia of Wme orchestrated the partnership.
