Medusa, the infamous snake-headed lady of Greek mythology, will be slithering onto the big screen in a new animated comedy at Sony. Sony Pictures Animation bought a pitch from Todd Alcott and Holly Golden entitled Medusa, and My Little Pony director Lauren Faust is attached to direct. Michelle Raimo Kouyate, Sony Pictures Animation president of production, will supervise production, along with Jenny Marchick and Daniel Inkeles.
