Edge Of Tomorrow is Not a Soap Opera But a High Concept Tom Cruise Movie
Live. Die. Repeat. June 6, 2014
Not exactly the best scenario for most people, but for Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Tom Cruise), it could wind up saving his life.
Aliens have descended upon the Earth, and Bill Cage has found himself caught in a time loop. He keeps reliving the final day of his battle. Everytime he dies combating aliens, he wakes up at the beginning of the war.
Another soldier by the name of Rita (Emily Blunt) realizes this ability, and she helps train him. Every time Cage and Rita die, they get sent back to the beginning, but they retain all of their training. It's up to the two of them to train hard and become the best soldiers possible so they can defeat the alien threat.
