Benjamin Walker, Kaya Scodelario and More Join Fantasy Adaptation ‘The Moon and the Sun’
Indie fantasy adaptation “The Moon and the Sun” have cast a handful of up and comers to join Pierce Brosnan, according to THR. Benjamin Walker, Kaya Scodelario, and “Divergent” star Ben Lloyd-Hughes, as well as Chinese actress Fan Bing Bing are now also on board the adapation of Vonda McIntyre’s novel. The historical-set fantasy sees Brosnan as King Louis Xiv, who seeks to rule forever. His search for immortality leads him to capture a mermaid (Fan) in order to steal her life force, but soon his illegitimate daughter (Scodelario) finds the creature and strikes up a friendship with her.
