Due to have its world premiere at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival later this week, before playing in competition at Boston Underground Film Festival on 28 March, we get a first look at Kept, the debut feature from Mizui Maki.Mizui, who worked as assistant to Sono Sion and then Nishimura Yoshihiro, purportedly based the script on her own personal experiences as a sex crime victim. The story follows a young woman (played by original AKB48 member Kayano, who is abducted by a serial rapist, only to forge a strange relationship with her attacker and escape unharmed.
