
Sandra Bullock, George Clooney attend 'Gravity' world premiere

Sandra Bullock and George Clooney attended the world premiere of sci-thriller Gravity at the opening of the annual 70th Venice International Film Festival last night (August 29).
Bullock stunned in a strapless scarlet J.Mendel gown and black Roger Vivier heeled sandals, while Clooney looked smart in a classic tuxedo as the pair graced the red carpet at the city's Palazzo del Cinema.
Italian writer, actress and director Marina Ripa Di Meana stood out at the screening wearing a birdcage headpiece and red feather boa.
Clooney and Bullock star as two astronauts stranded in space after their shuttle is hit by debris in the Alfonso Cuaron thriller.
Speaking at the post-film press conference about the demanding role of Dr Ryan Stone, Bullock explained: "Physically and mentally it was the craziest, most bizarre, challenging thing. But you find what you're made of."
