John C. Reilly Might Join ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ As Rhomann Dey
John C. Reilly has been tapped to play a major role in Marvel’s upcoming space opera, Guardians of the Galaxy.
HitFix revealed that the actor has been offered the role of Rhomann Dey, a human being who acts as the intermediary between the star-traveling Guardians and the Earth-based S.H.I.E.L.D. Dey would act as the Agent Coulson (played by Clark Gregg) to the Guardians. He would look over them, their activities and report back to S.H.I.E.L.D.
The superhero movie already includes Parks and Recreation‘s Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Mma star Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer) and The Walking Dead‘s Michael Rooker (Yondu).
Guardians Of The Galaxy is out in theaters August 1, 2014.
