‘Jackass 3.5’ To Premiere Online March 2011
Following on the success of its 2007 digital release “Jackass 2.5,” Thomas Lesinski, President of Paramount Digital Entertainment, announced that a series of new stunts and gross-out gags will debut online in March 2011 with a new clip every week culminating and then bound together for the full-length “Jackass 3.5.” According to “Deadline,” plans for “Jackass 3.5” were set at the start of production on “Jackass 3D” since “Jackass 2.5” became the most successful non-theatrical release in Paramount history. "I don’t want to say that the “Jackass” guys invented the Internet but they were doing viral videos before most people had even heard the term,” Lesinski said.
