The Gotti project concerning the relationship between John Gotti Jr. and his father, the late mob boss John Gotti, stars John Travolta, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Lindsay Lohan, Ella Bleau Travolta and Kelly Preston. Gotti's father, the flamboyant head of New York's Gambino crime family, spent the last ten years of his life before his death in 2002 from cancer. The last time the son visited his father, he informed him of his intention to leave his life of crime and get out of the family business. Gotti Jr.'s mother tried to protect him as well as the other three siblings from a life of crime, however, the younger Gotti served jail sentences of around nine years for charges like loan sharking, racketeering and gambling.
