Jason Statham's 'Heat' adds Stanley Tucci, Anne Heche
Stanley Tucci and Anne Heche have been cast in Heat.
Jason Statham's action-thriller remake has also added Cedric the Entertainer, Hope Davis and Milo Ventimiglia to its lineup, reports Deadline.
Based on William Goldman's novel, it was previously adapted in 1986 with Burt Reynolds in the lead role.
It centres around Statham as a gambling addict mercenary working for hire in Las Vegas.
Goldman - best known as the screenwriter for The Princess Bride - is working on the Heat script for Expendables 2 director Simon West.
The film will also feature Sophia Vergara, Michael Angarano, and Dominik Garcia-Lorido.
