Gardening Australia presenter Colin Campbell dies
ABC TV presenter Colin Campbell has passed away at the age of 79.
The ABC Gardening Australia presenter died this morning after a short battle with cancer.
Not only a presenter on Gardening Australia, Campbell hosted radio show Talk Gardening on 4Bc, retiring after 29 years on new Years Day, 2012.
He also wrote columns for both the Gardening Australia magazine and Brisbane’s Courier-Mail newspaper.
In 2007 Campbell was awarded the Order of Australia medal for his service to horticulture.
He died in Maleny Hospital on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
