Zoe Saldana to Headline Nina Simone Biopic Nina
Zoe Saldana is set to play Nina Simone in the upcoming biopic of the musician, Nina . The Hollywood Reporter brings word that the Star Trek star will be joined by David Oyelowo as Clifton Henderson, Simone's manager. Cynthia Mort will both write and direct the project, which is set to begin production on October 16th in Los Angeles. Saldana can next be seen opposite Bradley Cooper in The Words while Oyelow recently appeared in Red Tails .
