
Lily Allen accepts apology from Twitter soldier

Lily Allen has received an apology from Harry Wilson, the soldier that she reported to the Ministry of Defence over a tweet. After making her complaint, Allen received critical and abusive messages on Twitter, leading to her declaring earlier today (July 12) that she would be leaving the microblogging site temporarily. However, about three hours after she announced her break, she posted: "I have just received some flowers and a hand written apology from Harry Wilson, which I accept. I hope we can all now move on. Thank you." The message which started off the Twitter storm had been a comment on rumours that Allen was in the process of adopting a child, with Wilson writing: "All the best with your new family just seen you bought s**t I mean adopted (more)...
