Charlie Sheen is headed to FX to play yet another man named Charlie on "Anger Management" (premieres Thursday, June 28 at 9 p.m. Et).

Agreeing to play a character whose personality not only mirrors his own, but shares the same name may seem like an odd choice, but it's old news to Sheen. He's played a character named Charlie two other times: Charlie Harper on "Two and a Half Men" and Charlie Crawford on "Spin City."

"I think it happens a lot in sitcoms. Jerry Seinfeld, Ray Romano and Bob Newhart all used their real first names," Sheen told Playboy of playing a "Charlie" three times. "It's also easier for audiences so they're not confused by a new character. They feel they're already familiar with me right off the bat."
