Merle Dixon Returns in 'The Walking Dead' Season 3 (Photo)

The Walking Dead fans have long been wondering if in fact fan favorite Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) would ever return.
The little tease towards the end of season 2 only served to wet the fans appetites for more Merle. Now it seems we have our answer, AMC has posted a photo of Michael Rooker as Merle from the set of Season 3, digg it along with a couple other on-set pics.
As per Amctv.com, Since being abandoned on a rooftop in Season 1, Merle Dixon has been the source of fervent fan speculation. (Where is he? Is he alive?) Today, AMC confirms that Merle (Michael Rooker) will return in The Walking Dead Season 3. Check out this first look at the character -- sporting a new arm accessory.
