Robert Redford Announces Sundance Productions
Sundance founder Robert Redford continued to prep for the London edition of the popular independent film fest to take place April 26-29 at The 02 as a four-day event with an emphasis on 14 feature-length American independent films and 8 short films and independent music featuring Placebo, Tricky and Martina Topley-Bird. Redford stayed extra busy prior to Sundance London with Variety confirming the launch of Sundance Productions, a production company focused on TV and multimedia content, with Laura Michalchyshyn. “Interesting talent and smart collaboration in creating special television content and media, that’s what we’re about,” Michalchyshyn told Variety.
