
'Doctor Who' star Karen Gillan 'splits from boyfriend of six years'

Doctor Who star Karen Gillan appears to have revealed that she has split from her longterm boyfriend. The actress, who plays Amy Pond in the BBC sci-fi, talked about her partner of six years Patrick Green in the past tense when promoting her new TV drama We'll Take Manhattan. The project sees Gillan portray '60s supermodel Jean Shrimpton, who strikes up a love affair with photographer David Bailey.
