David Cross Clarifies 'Chipmunks' Slam
Two days after David Cross's casual "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" smackdown, he took to his Facebook page to apologize.
The star appeared on "Conan" Monday night and explained that filming the third "Chipmunk" movie was "the most miserable experience I've ever had in my professional life." Cross then made an anti-semitic jab at one of the film's producers, describing her as "the personification of what people think about when they think negatively about Jews." (Talk about a banger in the mouth!)
Tail between his legs, Cross issued an apology to "Chipwrecked" producers Janice Karman and Ross Bagdasarian, Jr. -- who, incidentally, is the son of the "Alvin and the Chipmunks" creator.
