Zeebox, the new social TV discovery service developed by former BBC iPlayer and YouView technical brain Anthony Rose, has launched on iPhone and iPod Touch. Last month, Zeebox debuted with a free app on the iPad, capitalising on the trend for social TV and 'dual-screening'. The app is a real-time electronic programme guide (Epg) service, offering the ability to organise favourite channels and navigate available content on a second screen, such as a smartphone or tablet computer. However, Zeebox also gives the ability to interact with fellow viewers to gain recommendations and discuss the programmes you are watching in real time.
