Ernie Halvorsen and Cindy Chiang have won season 19 of The Amazing Race. The engaged couple, who finished last week's semi-final in second place, triumphed to claim the $$1 million (£639,635) prize on the final leg in Atlanta, Georgia. Ernie and Cindy revealed after their victory that they intend to use their winnings to help those less fortunate than themselves. Cindy said: "We would really like to create an organisation that can multiply the $$1 million and help those really in need. We have been around the world and have met the most amazing people... They just need a little bit extra and we want to help them and inspire them to live a better life and contribute to the global economy."
