After details of the death of oft-troubled, occasionally drug-addicted David Carradine (of the Hollywood Carradines) in Thailand leaked, it became clear that it was a case of auto-erotic asphyxiation- accidental death while attempting to hang himself to enhance sexual gratification. Since then, his wife Anne has been engaged in a lawsuit against the production company whose film, Stretch, was the reason that Carradine was in Thailand.

Carradine's widow claimed that the production company an an obligation to oversee him, and says that on the night of his death the staff went to dinner and left him to his own devices. After two years of litigation, she's finally settled with the production company as well as the hotel.
