Nicki Minaj fined £7.13 for 'sexual' performance in Jamaica
Nicki MInaj has been cautioned by police and fined for putting on an explicit stage show in Jamaica. The 'Super Bass' star was performing at Jamaica's Reggae Sumfest over the weekend when she was approached by the country's authorities. The rapper was given a summons while leaving the Catherine Hall Complex in Montego Bay over explicit lyrics and sexual dances moves, reports the Jamaica Observer. Minaj did not appear in court, but was instead represented by local attorney Hugh Thompson, who entered an ex parte guilty plea on behalf of the hip-hop star and paid the required J$$1000 (£7.13) fine.
