People love movies where kids kill adults. It’s like some bizarre twist on the animals run amok fad. The movie could be about anything, could be the best movie or the worst movie in the world--it doesn’t matter. All you have to mention is the word “killer kids” and people go ape shit. What is it about children killing people and being “naughty” that unites us so readily? Is it that momentary feeling of glee that brings us back to the days of The Exorcist? The days when wise old Regan McNeil once said, “Your mother sucks cocks in hell” and we all laughed and pretended that we weren’t peeing our pants? Yes, killer kids remind us of the good old days I think. The days when taboos were broken as a mere afterthought.
