Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the comedy Jumping the Broom. The album includes Edward Shearmur’s original score, as well as several songs from the film. Artists featured on the soundtrack include Shelea Frazier, Louis Armstrong, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Gonzales, Cupid and Curtis Mayfield. The album is currently available to download on iTunes. Jumping the Broom is directed by Salim Akil and stars Angela Bassett, Paula Patton, Laz Alonso, Loretta Devine, Mike Epps and Julie Bowen. The film is opening in theaters this Friday, May 6.
