Netflix ordered a reboot of the popular ’80s and ’90s show that launched the careers of Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears, Variety reported Wednesday (May 14).

It will air live twice a week with a livestream that includes viewer voting that determines which contestants advance to the next round.

“Each episode will spotlight the best up-and-coming performers across four categories — music, dance, variety/comedy, kids — as they compete for their shot at stardom. With an arced competition structure and weekly eliminations, the series builds dramatic momentum, making every live episode an unmissable event,” the official description reads.

The host, judges and premiere date have not yet been announced.

The home renovation network will be renovating the iconic location where the ABC reality TV show series takes place.

An upcoming series with the working title Renovating the Bachelor Mansion is in the works, as presented during Warner Bros. Discovery’s upfront presentation on Wednesday (May 14), via THR.

The show is said to feature former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants “who possess expert reno skills” will compete in a series of design challenges at the house, located in Augora Hills, Calif. The winner receives a cash prize.

The project sees the reunion of Brandon and Taylor after 1923, the Paramount+ Western drama from the Yellowstone universe. Cinematographer Ben Richardson will make his feature directorial debut on F.A.S.T. after working on 1923 as well.
