Barcelona, 1995. Sergi studied cinema at ESCAC, he officially began his career as a director and screenwriter with 'Tribe' ('Tribu' in Spanish, its original language), a dark comedy short film starring five empowered women.
The film was selected for more than 60 international Cinema festivals worldwide and, between others, was awarded with the Special Jury Mention Prize at the Festival de Cine de Zaragoza in 2018 (being then preselected for the Goya Awards) and was screened at the famous Pinewood Studios, United Kingdom.
He specialized himself in the field of the "Making Of" -due to his knowledge with the camera and editing-, that is why he worked in tens of Spanish and English movies, commercials and music videos. And managed to also become an Editor.
'Bristol' represents his first documentary project as a director, but it also has an experimental/fictional part in which young actors and actresses play parts of his actual life. After that release, he was chosen to direct and write all the episodes of a TV-Series made for CCCC, a well-known museum in Valencia, Spain.
