Michael P Gennett
Michael P Gennett was born on November 9th, 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Catherine(Kitty) (Reilly), a personnel company executive assistant, and John (Jack) Gennett (born John William Gennett), an electronics specialist at RCA. His father was of Scottish and Italian ancestry, while his maternal grandparents were Scottish immigrants from Glasgow, Scotland. Michael was a lackluster student at Cardinal Dougherty High School East in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (never above a C average, average track athlete and involved in most school drama productions). After high school Michael moved from Philadelphia to Brigantine, NJ. After dropping out of Stockton State College in New Jersey, where he did some acting, Michael worked in Atlantic City as a Casino bartender, and a Craps Dealer. Michael moved to a suburb of Philadelphia and enjoyed a career in Real Estate. A lifelong Philadelphia resident, Michael of course was a huge Rocky fan and crashed the set of Rocky Balboa while it was filming on the 9th St Italian Market in South Philadelphia, scoring a whopping 3 seconds of camera time as unpaid, and probably unwanted, background extra. And so the long lost acting desire was re-awakened and in 2018 Michael submitted for Creed 2 and was cast as a Russian Military Officer, escorting the Drago Entourage and performing security in the Drago corner. Also in 2018 Michael was cast in two roles in Miss Atkins Army, a WWII period piece, first as a OSS Officer (pre-sursor to the CIA), and then as a Officer in The British Royal Air Force. Constant comparisons to Harrison Ford's dry humor and reluctant hero rogue acting style and Patrick Dempsey looks, Michael is a actor to keep your eye on for a much bigger story.
