Timmy Turner was an average kid that no one understood. Now, in the first trailer for “The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder,” we get to meet some other members of his family.
The new series, set to hit Paramount+ at the end of March, focuses on Timmy’s cousin, Vivian “Viv” Turner (Audrey Grace Marshall), and her new stepbrother, Roy Raskin (Tyler Wladis), as they navigate life in Dimmsdale with the help of the wacky fairies we know and love: Cosmo and Wanda.
Timmy himself will make an appearance in order to gift Cosmo and Wanda to the kids. And yes, he’s still wearing his classic pink hat. But, in place of his pink shirt, he’s wearing a Princeton sweatshirt — which might surprise fans of the original series, considering his relationship with school.
You can watch the full trailer for “The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder” in the video here and above.

"You got an army of people who love you at your back." Gravitas has debuted an official trailer for an indie film titled After Class, which initially premiered under the title Safe Spaces at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. It's getting the usual VOD release in December, if anyone is curious anyway. Justin Long plays an NYU professor who gets in trouble after trying to create "safe spaces" for his students. So he skips town and spends a week re-connecting with his family and an ill grandmother while attempting to defend his reputation. The cast includes Fran Drescher, Richard Schiff, Camrus Johnson, Kate Berlant, Becky Ann Baker, Tyler Wladis, Lynn Cohen, Samrat Chakrabarti, Dana Eskelson, and Michael Godere. Well this seems rather charming and uplifting in a warm way, it might actually be worth a watch. Here's the first official trailer (+ promo poster) for Daniel Schechter's After Class,...

ABC has renewed its freshman comedy Single Parents for a second season
The September 26, 2018 debuting single-camera show follows a group of very different, you guessed it, single parents as they lean on one another to help raise their 7-year-old kids and maintain some kind of personal lives outside of parenthood, sort of.
It kicked off with the group meeting Will (Taran Killam), a thirtysomething guy who’s been so focused on raising his daughter that he’s lost sight of who he is as a man. When the other single parents see just how far down the rabbit hole of PTA, parenting and princesses Will has gone, they band together to get him out in the dating world and make him realize that being a great parent doesn’t mean sacrificing everything about your own identity.

ABC has ordered 9 additional episodes of its well received new comedy Single Parents, bringing its freshman season to a full-season 22 episodes. The single-camera comedy hails from Jj Philbin, Liz Meriwether and soon-to-be siblings 20th Century Fox TV and ABC Studios
In a fall season without new comedy breakouts besides The Neighbors‘s debut in total viewers, Single Parents, helped by its post-Modern Family time slot, is ranking as the No 2 new comedy in adults 18-49, behind only last night’s debut of ABC’s The Conners, one of two reboots/revivals that have done well this fall, along with Fox’s Last Man Standing. Through its first three episodes, Single Parents is averaging a 1.6 adults 18-49 Live+3 rating and 5.6 million viewers. Still, ahead of its fourth outing tonight, Single Parents continues to be sliding in the ratings though it showed signs of stabilizing in Week 3. Its demo deliveries for...

In superficial terms, not much unites the shaggy group at the center of “Single Parents.” Angie (Leighton Meester) is a stressed out paralegal; Douglas (Brad Garrett) is a surly country club Republican; Poppy (Kimrie Lewis) is a frank sommelier; Miggy (Jake Choi) is a 20-year-old probable DJ. But by the time Will (Taran Killam) and his daughter join their school district, they’ve formed a single parent supergroup forged by their shared bonds of frustration and exhaustion. With heavy disdain for the chipper couples surrounding them, they share babysitting duties and horror stories with each other to keep themselves sane and upright as best they can.
The pilot of “Single Parents” — written by “New Girl’s” Liz Meriwether and J.J. Philbin — doesn’t try too hard to justify their friendship beyond that, which can be a little disorienting with so many disparate characters to juggle. It’s hard not to wonder,...
