River won a 2018 Joey Award for Best Lead Actor, and the Best Actor award at the POV Film Festival, for his performance as Elli in the festival short film It's A Boy. He worked for two months as an acting/body double for Winslow Fegley on the 2019 Tom McCarthy feature film Timmy Failure. An excellent athlete, he enjoys nordic and alpine skiing, basketball, skateboarding, stilt-walking, hip hop dance and archery, as well as writing stories and acting in plays and films. He is currently in the drama mini program at Byng Secondary. River also performs at festivals across BC on stilts, performing athletic, musical and whimsical characters with his family as The SuperFun Stilt Family. He is a huge fan of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and began reading the series at age 6. He also loves the Percy Jackson book series, Stranger Things, Gravity Falls and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. River is the son of actors Jennifer-Juniper Angeli and Pete Graham, and is the brother of actor Sapphire Angeli.
