Brianna Patrice Russell is a theatre and film production designer originally from the Pilbara region of Western Australia. She trained as a fine furniture craftsperson, collaborating on both large scale projects and bespoke commissions.
Brianna expanded her skill set studying Production Design at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (2016-2018) in Sydney, Australia. She has since designed sets and costumes for live performance and short films that draw on her knowledge of making.
In 2021 she combined her creative practices by conceptualising and drafting furniture and props (both historical and contemporary) for Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021).
Since moving to Sweden, Brianna has been assistant art director on Clark (2022) for Netflix and art director on Hilma (2022) and Ronja the Robber's Daughter (2024) (both for Viaplay).
