We may not be ready to say goodbye to Dr. Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers) and her friends, but we don’t have a choice.
Paramount+ has confirmed the upcoming fourth season of Evil will be its last.
The only good news from the announcement is that four additional episodes have been ordered to help bring the series to a close.
Many shows don’t get endings, but Evil has been one of those shows that beat the odds.
The procedural premiered on CBS in September 2019 and scored a renewal quickly despite soft on-air viewership.
Because the show had such a robust digital footprint, it was moved to Paramount+ beginning with its second season, where it will remain through its fourth and final season.

“Evil has met its match,” veteran showrunner (and strike captain) Warren Leight wrote on Twitter at 1 Am Et Sunday alongside a video of three picketers walking in a small circle (you can watch it below). “Studio waited hoping they’d leave, because they didn’t want the headline that 3 guys walking for six hours shut the show down. Deadline has confirmed that no filming on Evil occurred Friday.

And the agent tells the young girl the story of what led to her getting on the FBI’s radar and Jess stepping in to give her a choice: face charges or work a case. Nine years later, she’s still there. Did it ever stop hurting? Ollie asks. Not completely, Hana admits. How will Hana be ...

Wait until the kids go to bed to dive back into Robert and Michelle King’s “Evil,” which for its second season is now a Paramount+ original. Season 1 aired on CBS.
Since it will be dark outside (as established by our advice on timing), we recommend turning on every single interior light first. And then maybe carve out some time for a light-hearted comedy episode or two before you actually turn in for the night.
What we’re saying is this one is fully creepy.
Late Sunday night, Paramount+, which you may or may not have heard consists of a “mountain of entertainment,” revealed the teaser trailer for Season 2 of The Kings’ streaming thriller. The music alone would be the most haunting thing you heard today — and then the visuals join it.
The teaser trailer also unveils the sophomore season’s premiere date of June 20.

The second season of “Evil” is set to premiere on Paramount Plus June 20. The 13-episode season will release episodes each Sunday on the streaming service. The teaser for the new season showcases vignettes from the “Evil” characters over a spooky soundtrack, with each of them fighting their own supernatural battles. There’s no shortage of scare in the new teaser, which features exorcisms, grisly murders and creepy creatures, all in under two minutes.
“Evil” examines the origin of, well, evil — exploring the phenomenon along the lines of science and religion. Evil is returning this fall. The supernatural drama series aired to low ratings in the 2019-20 season and was renewed for a second year. Production was delayed due to the pandemic so it didn't return as expected during the current 2020-21 season. Now, we have confirmation that it's coming back but the show will have a new home.
Evil stars Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti, Kurt Fuller, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco, and Dalya Knapp. A forensic psychologist, Kristen Bouchard accepts a job offer from David Acosta (Colter), a former adventure-seeking journalist. He's now studying to be a Catholic priest and has been tasked by the Church to assess unexplained phenomena. Acosta also recruits Ben Shakir (Mandvi), an even-tempered realist with carpentry skills. He uses those abilities to uncover practical rationales behind "hauntings." Kristen is certain that science...
