"Xo, Kitty" follows Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) as she travels to South Korea in order to reconnect with a lost love. By the sound of things, the "Xo, Kitty" cast quickly developed a close bond - though two of the cast members are actually family members, which was apparently a big surprise for everyone.
It turns out that Gia Kim and Sang Heon Lee, who play Yuri and Min Ho, are actually real-life siblings. In an interview with Teen Vogue, fellow star Minyeong Choi opened up about how the cast found out they were related. "I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this, but . . . did you know that Gia [Kim, who plays Yuri] and Sang Heon are siblings in real life?" Choi said of the "mind-blowing" revelation. He went on to reveal that the news had come to light when Lee asked if he could add his sister to a cast group text.

One thing we can surely make you clear about is that Kitty’s first kiss is not going to be her last at any cost !!!!! Hahaha while this news must definitely act as a relief for all the fans who were worried about the future of the series.
But in any possible case if you have been to watch the first season of this very popular Korean drama then let us tell you that the series, follows the life story of Kitty as she finds her own love story in Seoul, South Korea.
Yes, you are guessing it right that it basically belongs to the Korean romantic series zone. Over Kitty realizes love can flourish in countless disparate ways — and “things are not always so simple as she thinks of.

Anthony Keyvan agrees with Kitty’s description of Q, his character in Netflix’s “Xo, Kitty” as having a “heart of gold,” adding that he thinks Q would be a “bros before hoes” kind of guy when it comes to some drama at the end of the show.
Q is one of Dae’s (Minyeong Choi) best friends and roommates at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (Kiss), where Kitty’s mom studied abroad for her junior year of high school. Kitty (Anna Cathcart), who first appeared in the film adaptation of Jenny Han’s “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” (2018), sets off on her own adventures to Kiss in the spinoff show “Xo, Kitty” for two reasons: her mom went there and she’s dating Dae long-distance. Kitty eventually wins over Q, and she even sets him up with French and Greek student Florian (Théo Augier Bonaventure) with her matchmaking skills.

This article contains spoilers for Xo, Kitty.
Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) was a fan favourite in the To All The Boys I Loved Before series as her matchmaking skills set up the still ongoing romance between her sister Lara-Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo). The new spin-off series Xo, Kitty sees the teenager attempt to find her own romantic happy ending when she travels to Korea to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) who attends the Korean International School of Seoul, or Kiss for short. Kitty also attends the school to feel closer to her late mother, who also attended Kiss when she was Kitty’s age.
In 10 episodes, the love-filled journey Kitty thought she was getting is not as straightforward as she expected. Taking inspiration from K-Dramas, the first episode sees Dae and Kitty break up as he’s in a new, fake relationship with Yuri.

The new Netflix series “Xo, Kitty” takes some notes from the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” film trilogy, but it also branches out for youngest sister Kitty’s (Anna Cathcart) adventures to Korea. After getting the same scholarship that her mom got to study abroad at the Korean Independent School of Seoul, Kitty jets out to surprise her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi), who happens to attend Kiss. Things get a bit more complicated when Yuri Han (Gia Kim) dreams up a fake dating scheme to distract her mother from other parts of her life, and she chooses Dae to be her fake boyfriend.
And just like the “To All the Boys” movies, the “Xo, Kitty” soundtrack is great.

Kitty (Anna Cathcart) sets off for a whole new adventure in her own spinoff of Jenny Han’s “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” films. “Xo, Kitty” watches the youngest Song-Covey sister travel to Korea and make friends to last a lifetime at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (Kiss). She finds friends and family it seems, since her mom Eve Song left traces of her impact all over campus.
Kitty gets to be with her long distance boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) and his friends as well as other foreign (to Korea) students. Some familiar faces from the films make their own appearance here and there, but Kitty encounters many new people in her junior year studying abroad and learning about herself.

Updated 7 Pm: For the past two years, Xo, Kitty creator, executive producer and co-showrunner Jenny Han and executive producer and co-showrunner Sascha Rothchild worked on Netflix’s spinoff series from the hit All The Boys I’ve Loved Before movie trilogy. As the series holds its premiere tonight at the Netflix Tudum theater in Hollywood, the duo, along with the rest of the show’s writers, won’t be on hand to celebrate with the cast, producers and executives.
They are sitting the event out as part of WGA’s strike efforts. Writers and multi-hyphenated, including showrunners, are supporting their guild by not participating in any activities related to their series during the work stoppage.
“This moment is bigger than me, It’s bigger than the shows. And what’s at stake is the future of writers and our ability to keep telling stories and we are asking for fair compensation,...

Kitty (Anna Cathcart) finally gets her chance to shine in the trailer for “Xo, Kitty,” a new spin-off series that expands the world of “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” which was explored in the three film adaptations released on Netflix.
“I know when two people are meant for each other,” Cathcart says as an intro to her powerpoint presentation about why she should go to the Korea Independent School of Seoul. “I felt it for Lara Jean and Peter and I feel it for me and Dae.”
In the final film of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” trilogy, based on the books by Jenny Han, Kitty met Dae (Minyeong Choi) in New York while Lara Jean was visiting colleges. Now, she’s convinced that she has met her match, so she applied to Kiss because Dae goes there now. She gets in on scholarship, and the adventure begins.

Although the trailer begins with Kitty wanting to move halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (Kiss), she quickly realizes this next chapter is more than just about romance.

The streaming service just unveiled the first clip from the upcoming young adult romantic comedy spinoff, along with a batch of photos featuring Kitty Song Covey, played by Anna Cathcart.
“We all fell so deeply in love with Lara Jean and her story. So it felt like the greatest gift to give to Kitty was to let her as a character kind of set off on her own two feet and not put her in the shadow of either of her sisters,” explained series creator and co-showrunner Jenny Han.
Although the series is a spinoff, co-showrunners Han and Sascha Rothchild say you don’t have to watch To All the Boys to understand Xo, Kitty.
