- She has an artificial right eye. When she was just two years old, the actual eye had to be removed due to retinoblastoma cancer.
- She gained internet popularity after a video of her went viral where she cosplayed as Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series. This gained her the nickname "Dancing Hermione".
- Was once approached by producers of The X Factor UK (2004), who then invited her to a private audition, claiming that they were interested in someone who was into K-pop (Korean pop). She agreed and was later invited to the official audition in Wembley, for which she was asked to incorporate more Korean language into her performance. However, the whole thing didn't work out so well as she expected. Not only did she have little time to prepare herself, the judges were also suddenly puzzled why she was singing in Korean. Realizing that she might be humiliated in front of the audience and reduced as a joke, she asked the producers not to feature her at all in the show and withdrew from the show entirely.
- She attended the Lisa Thornley School of Theatre Dance and trained as a vocalist at the Take 2 Performing Arts Academy. She later went to the SLP College, an independent performing arts college in Leeds.
- She is also a singer, performing under the stage name Norma Night.
