Cyris has acted in theater and film from a young age. He starred in the short film "I Am Because You Are", which premiered at the Hawai'i International Film Festival and won best short film at the Maui Film Festival. The film was broadcast on PBS as part of the Pacific Islanders in Communication series "Pacific Heartbeat". He's also had supporting roles in feature films such as "Aloha Surf Hotel" (2020) and "Kuleana/Maui" (2017). In 2021, he co-starred in an episode of "Magnum, P.I." Additionally, he's acted in Hawaiian Telcom commercials and recently landed the lead role in an anti-vaping campaign.
Cyris was born in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of five he moved to Hawai'i, where his mother grew up. He's trained as an actor at Maui Academy of Performing Arts and Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA.
