Netflix and Amsterdam-based outfit Fiction Valley have announced the production of Shady El-Hamus' sophomore feature, an untitled crime-comedy set in the world of hip hop. The young director debuted with De Libi (2019), a dramedy revolving around a trio of audacious teenagers setting out on a riotous quest across Amsterdam to get into the city's most exclusive nightclub. The new project is penned by Jeroen Scholten van Aschat and the director himself, who scooped a Golden Calf for Best Screenplay for their work on De Libi last year.
