- Mark is the founder of Sons of Thunder Four Wheelers.
- While in the Navy, Mark went five days straight without food and sleep.
- Mark also played the lead role of Jesus in the Easter passion play at Agape Christian Fellowship from 1996-2001.
- Mark's parents Bob and Rose were friends of Western legends Roy Rodgers and Dale Evans and often kept Trigger at their family ranch.
- Marks very first audition was for the role of Carroll Shelby's (Matt Damon) pit mechanic named Smokey. He worked forty two days on FORD v FERRARI.
- On September 21, 2020, Mark was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle near Escondido, California, when he lost control and crashed. He died 17 days later on October 8, 2020 and was interred at Riverside National Cemetery with full military honors on October 27, 2020.
