Robert Kennedy was raised in California, son of John L Kennedy and Hilda Lindslay-Wilson Kennedy. n Father worked for Buena Vista, mother as a stand in for various brunette actresses from 1951 to 1963 and as a chaperon for her two young children. Robert was a reluctant actor preferring to hang around the technical side with cameramen, gaffers, lighting, wardrobe, the editing suite and watching directors such as Alfred Hitchcock, William Wyler, Billy Wilder, etc. In 1964 Rob returned to Britain at age 17 planning on a career on stage as an actor. Unfortunately the stage was not ready for his 'extraordinary talent' until he was discovered in 1970 and began a career as a theatrical producer and director spanning the decades until his retirement. He is now the head of ARK FILM AND TV PRODUCTIONS, based in Surrey. ARKs first project is KABBYS, a TV pilot which has been filmed and awaits a commission. Current projects include a horror film, KREAPER, a ten part thriller THE DIG and a possible co production of a baseball film, THE PITCHER. His ambition is to work with Angelina Jolie and Kevin Costner, but not on the same film.
