Andrea, a versatile Venezuelan-Canadian actress and producer based in Toronto, discovered her passion for the performing arts at a young age in Venezuela. Beginning at 7, she showcased her talents in local school competitions, excelling in singing and poetry while concurrently immersing herself in Flamenco lessons and gymnastics. Her dedication extended to the National Team for Artistic Roller Skating, highlighting her multifaceted talents.
At the age of 22, Andrea embarked on a new chapter in Canada, igniting her acting career. Drawing on her modeling background, she secured her initial commercial bookings with renowned brands such as Tim Hortons, Rogers, and Nike. Committed to honing her craft, Andrea pursued acting programs at prestigious institutions like LB Acting Studios and Armstrong Studios.
Andrea stands as a dynamic force in the film industry, actively participating in commercials, short films, TV movies, and series. Notable credits include appearances in Shadowhunters (Netflix), and A Christmas Fumble (OWN). Beyond acting, Andrea's passion for the performing arts has propelled her into the realms of writing and producing. As a budding writer and producer, she has successfully released a short film, "A Severe Case of Prudery," and a web series, "Latinas Wanted," which she co-wrote, co-produced, and starred in.
As a BIPOC performer and advocate for diversity and inclusion, Andrea continues to fight for Hispanic and Latinx representation in the Film industry. The resistance she has been met with has worked as fuel and inspiration to continue her journey. Her goal is to help pave the road for more artists to be allowed - and encouraged - to tell their stories regardless of the way they speak or the way they look.
